Kat is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where she studied Philosophy with a concentration in government and political theory. While she’s interested in public service, she snaps photos of what catches the eye in her spare time—to the point that she creates foot traffic in hot pursuit of capturing that angle of Jefferson’s jaw, or the miniature toad that hopped passed him. This love of the visual brought her to intern as a media and marketing intern at the Charlottesville Guide. Many of her photos and blogs can be found throughout the site.
