BBQ Exchange in downtown Gordonsville, VA features hickory-smoked and slow-roasted pork shoulders and spareribs. The meats are dry-cured with secret ingredient rubs and then cooked in our specialized wood-burning cooker. The Chicken Halves are grilled over live coals akin to the roadside BBQs that the Rotary, Kiwanis, and Fire departments have become famous for serving on Saturdays across the Eastern seaboard.

These anchors are highlighted with freshly baked rolls, cornbread and pumpkin muffins. Homemade pickles, salads, and slaws are served with the sandwiches, and sides include Brunswick Stew, Donna’s Baked Beans, Hushpuppies, Macaroni and Cheese, and even Collard Greens! And don’t overlook the desserts, homemade cupcakes, cookies, and brownies.

The style of service is quick-counter and take-out, with a feel of Virginia genteelness. The rustic building with its whitewashed tin siding and forest green roof offer a warm inviting feel. The main room lends to a pavilion outdoor feel with its barn-board walls and ceiling fans. Furnished with cedar picnic tables and paper roll coverings lend to the comfortable family experience. The tabletops at BBQ Exchange are adorned with a caddie of various homemade sauces.

Call-in orders are welcome.
