Glass House Winery was founded in 2006 when Jeff and Michelle Sanders decided to bring a tropical flair to the Monticello Wine Trail. The vineyard features carefully grown and cultivated grapes that reflect the best of the terroir in central Virginia. From artisan wines to handcrafted chocolates, Glass House offers a unique experience to those wishing to experience the Virginia wine culture. Sundays also feature popular live music events with local artists. Come get a taste of the Glass House experience.

A boutique winery in the heart of Monticello Wine Trail, Glass House Winery is a must-see destination in Central Virginia. It offers estate wines, blends, a unique chocolate wine, and their own brand of handmade chocolates. The artisan wines solely contain grapes grown on Glass House’s property and the nearby region. With 12 acres under vine, Glass House Winery consists of a tropical conservatory attached to a tasting room. Filled with tropical plants surrounding tables and walkways, the conservatory encourages visitors to sip wine while taking in the sites.
