Vu Noodles is hidden in plain sight. Some of the city’s best Vietnamese cuisine is served from this brick shell behind the Jefferson Theater on Water Street. Dynamic front person Julie Whittaker oversees all aspects of this delightful and unusual dining experience, which we highly recommend you try. Schooled in her mother’s love for Vietnamese flavors, Julie especially savors her spring rolls, Pho and Banh mi. Try those and one of several noodle bowls. Like your favorite trail, Vu Noodles is narrow for select company — 8 seats is max capacity, although takeout is popular too.
