Editor’s Note: Like a phoenix from the ashes, the legendary downtown eatery called Fellini’s is rumored to be opening once again in the middle of 2023. Stay tuned.

Fellini’s, a Charlottesville favorite since the ’80s, provides customers with delicious homemade Italian cooking right on the Downtown Mall. The calamari remains a favorite on the menu, featuring a sautéed recipe with a variety of spices and other ingredients. Although Fellini’s features customary Italian dishes, like fresh marinara and bolognese, made daily, a taste of Virginia cooking still shines through in their menu.
