When Don and Katy Kilwin began hand-crafting chocolates in the late 40’s they used only the finest chocolate and other ingredients. Today our assorted chocolates are still hand-crafted in our kitchen in Petoskey, MI, using the same recipes developed by Don Kilwin and we still use only the very finest chocolates and other ingredients. Our creamy Mackinac Island Fudge comes from our original recipes developed by Don & Katy Kilwin. Having purchased a marble table in 1948 Don Kilwin began hand-crafting fudge shortly thereafter. Over the years we have added many flavors that are enjoyed in all of our stores and throughout the country. We think it was the best fudge ever made then and the best you’ll ever enjoy today! The Perfect Apple
In the mood for a caramel apple? The perfect apple starts with the best Granny Smith apples available, hand-dipped in our handmade caramel. Our original recipe caramel was developed by Don Kilwin and is still cooked in traditional copper kettles.
