Asian Restaurants

The Asian Wave came early to Charlottesville, with the first generation of Chinese restaurants opening in the 1970s. By the late 1980s, Japanese sushi restaurants emerged, then Thai restaurants, and more recently Korean kitchens have joined the community infused with ginger and mellowed with sweet and sour. Our comprehensive list of Asian restaurants includes our best recommendations for a dining experience that’s both exotic and satisfying.
