Now & Zen

Now & Zen is a modern, intimate eatery that offers classic sushi and eclectic Japanese mani courses. It was founded over a decade ago by Toshi Sato, who first came to Charlottesville in the 1990s to co-found the legendary Tokyo Rose sushi joint and night club. Next, he opened Now & Zen one block off Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall. With seating for 30 max, the space is intimate and the menu exquisite. Now & Zen is for sushi connoisseurs and is a great dining choice after spending a day shopping or visiting the various entertainment centers downtown. With several vegan options, Now & Zen is a perfect choice for large group outings.
