Tucked away down an alley and up a flight of stairs off Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall, The Alley Light offers classic French shared plates, exquisite craft cocktails, and small grower wines in a casually elegant atmosphere. Or rather, a comfortable place to have a well-made drink and bite to eat from their rotating menu of seasonal and eclectic fare.
Dinner reservations can be made for the bar at either 5 or 5:15pm, but at all other times, you can try your luck as a walk-in. Home to one of Charlottesville’s most well-known bartenders!
