Bar Tomas, located in the historic building that once housed famed donut shop Spudnuts and just on the edge of Belmont, is open for dinner Wednesday-Saturday at 5:30 pm. Surrounding an 18′ community table inside is a splendid collection of Steve Keene paintings, further contributing to a a joyous sensory load.

Wait for it. Let the sounds and the smells mingle. This place bursts with charm. Chef/Owners Tomas Rahal, Anna Zaragoza, and Mary Evans surprise diners with a new monthly menu of fresh and seasonal ingredients, with a heavy Spanish influence, and always a refined selection of wines to complement your meal.

Often, those fresh ingredients come from the beautiful victory garden just outside this small, quaint diner where there are also outdoor tables to enjoy the Belmont vibe. Don’t let the low-key setting fool you…the menu is on par with any of the best restaurants in Cville.
