Continental Divide

Continental Divide is nothing short of a full-fledged institution in Charlottesville. Tucked discretely behind shade trees beside a sewing shop on West Main Street, since the early 1990s Continental Divide has been the destination for good food and better margaritas. Hanging in the window glows a famous neon-scorpion sign that says “Get in Here.” Obey and you will enter a bustling atmosphere that’s often crowded like a good party. Sounds of Austin play while the bar bounces with fresh margaritas. Along the wall, 8 booths can intimately pack your dinner party where you’ll be served from a menu straight out of Texas: Red Hot Blues, Texas Humus, Black Angus and Black Bean Chile… the list goes on! Even more extensive, however, is the tequila list. You’ll need to shout to your waitress to be heard, but all you desire is close at hand.
