SugarBear is one of Charlottesville’s newest ice cream shops. Each of SugarBear’s flavors is made from scratch with fresh ingredients from local producers in every scoop. Try signature flavors like Honey Sea Salt Latte, Blueberry Sunshine or Wild Woman Whiskey. 

You can also order ice cream cakes made with local favorite MarieBette Cafe & Bakery’s cake and “a happy little layer of ice cream.” East High Street near Free Bridge.

Hours

Open Tuesday-Thursday, 3-9; Friday, 3-10, Saturday, 12-10, Sunday, 12-9. Closed Monday.
