Opened in 2021 by one of Charlottesville’s premier restaurant teams, Crush Pad became a category-busting favorite to enjoy our wine pastime. Directly across the street from sister-restaurant Bizou, proprietor Vincent Dequenne and his team introduced a long, and elegant wine bar overlooked by a fabulous selection of wines curated by Charlottesville’s most experienced buyers. Seating outside offers a birds-eye view of the Downtown Mall while inside intimate booths enjoin a long wine bar where sophisticates can repair to cool their heels and reflect on the craft of fine wine. An enticing selection of small plates and cheese and charcuterie boards create the perfect complement for your drink, and the atmosphere is both natural and pleasant, in sort of a modern replica of high tea at Herrods.
