Maggie’s Midtown is an exciting new restaurant located in the heart of Charlottesville’s West Main Street. Its arrival into the belt of great eateries along West Main Street lends even more luster to the neighborhood also increasingly known as Midtown.
That’s right. Where the Blue Moon Diner once comforted locals now stands an elegantly refurbished restaurant on 2 floors, including a lovely rooftop dining area with panoramic views. Maggie’s Midtown is the brainchild of three seasoned restaurant professionals: Chef Tarik Sengul from Smyrna, Mike Stewart from Marigold most recently, and Bradley Geist who owned two restaurants in New York City. Now, with Maggie’s Midtown they have combined their efforts “reimagining classic pub fare with a refined, contemporary touch.”
The menu features elevated comfort food such as charred oysters, fish & chips, chicken pot pie, and a New York strip to name a few. When you walk in the door, the bar makes a bold first impression, and you can count on a drink that perfectly compliments your order.
