Brought to you by the enterprising Stefan Friedman, who leads a restaurant group that includes Ace Biscuit, Tapt, Vitae Spirits and Littlejohns, Bonny and Read combine sophistication in preparation and service with the casual atmosphere that our town’s famous for.
Chris Humphrey, a celebrated Charlottesville chef with an enduring connection to the long-lost Fellini’s Restaurant, leads Bonny and Read’s talented kitchen team. Their menu has been called “Chris Humphrey’s love letter to the Chesapeake Bay & the farms of the Mid-Atlantic,” and the menu includes She-Crab Soup, Roasted Branzino, and Crab Crusted Flounder. For dessert, Bonny and Read’s Atlantic Beach Pie is especially knock-out!
